Biogenic is honoured to announce that they are an official partner of GenM, a collective that encourages brands to recognise and respond to the needs of all women during the menopause.

Instead of being advised to see a doctor about the debilitating symptoms of the menopause, 75% of women still believe that these “women’s issues” are something they must go through in silence. Additionally, according to GenM’s groundbreaking Invisibility Report, 90% of the UK’s 15.5 million menopausal women wish brands were more inclusive to the menopause, while a further 87% feel overlooked by brands and society as a whole.

GenM, the menopause partner for brands, was co-founded by Heather Jackson and Sam Simister, two businesswomen who found the menopause hard to navigate and suddenly felt invisible to brands with whom they had built loyalty over the years. Together, they created GenM with a clear mission: to unite responsible brands and organisations to improve the menopause experience, normalise the conversation, and support under-served menopausal consumers and employees.

Partnered with 70 brands including Boots, Royal Mail, Next, M&S and Co-op, GenM is working to transform the menopause through empowering brands to understand & support this audience. Changing attitudes and normalising the conversation, GenM is helping brands better cater for menopausal customers and employees; ultimately improving the health and happiness of millions with menopause-friendly products, services, signposting, workplace policies and marketing campaigns. Biogenic is the latest brand to join the GenM collective.

At its core, Biogenic supports women navigating the mid-life transition plus the thousands of women who are put into premature menopause due to surgical intervention. Our partnership with GenM demonstrates our commitment to accelerating the much-needed societal change whilst providing a safe space to educate, support and empower women during one of the most important transitions of their lives.
